The Devlog begins!

Hey everyone!

I don't know how many of you have been following me, but as you may have noticed, I was away! I served a mission in Brazil, and now that I'm back I am excited to be diving back into game development!

Ali Baba and the forty thieves

My first project post-mission is called ali baba and the forty thieves! Play as Ali Baba and take down waves of thieves in this arcade style turn-based strategy game!

This project is my first time making a game outside of Gamemaker studio 2! This game is being made entirely in java, and as always, entirely by me. 

Current state of the Project

The game currentely features two unique enemies and two unique weapons. There is one desert arena stage to fight in, with the possibility of new areas and progression. The game at present doesn't have any story, or even a win state, but all that will hopefully be added in time. 

Will it be released??

I'm hoping so! The original idea for this project was to release the game in a month! However, October is closing fast, and I may need to work on it for one more in order for it to be the completed vision I have in mind.
However, if it safely makes it to completion, then you can expect to see the game online and on mobile!
